Please find information below about scholarships specifically for Arizona students. Some of the deadlines may be from prior years. Scholarship deadlines are cyclical, so even if a deadline has passed, the website will likely be updated for the current school year. January

This awards over $8,000 each year to graduate and undergraduate students in environmental programs in Arizona. To qualify, you must be pursuing a career in the environmental field and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. You must also be a full or part-time student. The deadline to apply is January 8th. AQHA Arizona Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship is for Arizona students who are in their senior year of high school or enrolled in college, and are involved in the American Quarter Horse Association are invited to apply for the Arizona Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship. The amount varies, and students must maintain a 2.5 GPA at a four-year college or university. The deadline is January 15th. Learn more here. 

 

Tempe Diablos College and Trade School Scholarships provide support to students attending Arizona State University, a Maricopa County Community College, or an eligible trade school. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in the classroom, be involved in extracurricular school or community activities, have strong leadership abilities, and possess strong communication skills. Financial need is considered for the award amount, and the deadline is January 19th. Learn more here.

 

Clarkston Scholars Program awards $10,000 to one sophomore attending a four-year college/university undergraduate program at a qualifying school. Applicants should be first-generation college students with financial need, demonstrate interest in consulting and/or the consumer products, life sciences, or retail industries, not be related to any current or former Clarkston Consulting employees, and should be willing to participate in a mentorship program with representatives from Clarkston Consulting. The purpose is to promote diversity and bring its benefits to the community by awarding up to $2000 in national scholarships to graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited college or university. The applicant must be a US citizen and live in one of the states where the InspirASIAN chapter partakes (Arizona is one of them). A 3.40 GPA is required to apply. Ralph M. Knight Chemistry & Engineering Scholarship awards a student a one-time $5,000 toward freshman-year tuition at a four-year college or university in the United States. Applicants must be a full-time senior attending a Catholic high school within the Diocese of Phoenix, must be a registered practicing Catholic, must declare chemistry or engineering as a major, and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Angel Scholarship for Social Work, Peace, & Justice Studies offers a one-time $5,000 award toward freshman-year tuition at a four-year college or university in Arizona. Applicants must be a full-time senior attending a Catholic high school within the Diocese of Phoenix, must be a registered practicing Catholic, and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship award is not based on financial need or high school grade point average, and it does not fund degrees in criminal justice, philosophy, psychology, nursing, or teaching/education. February

ASLA Council of Fellows Scholarships awards $10,000 to one winner and $5,000 to four runner-ups. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents who are enrolled in their second, third, fourth, or fifth year of an undergraduate Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited program of landscape architecture. The Priscilla Gale Memorial Scholarship awards $500 to U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who reside and attend college/university in Arizona. Students must major in education and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The deadline is February 1st. More info here.

 

This is available to residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and certain Australian states who are members or relatives of ESA. Students will receive $900 annually to use towards tuition, registration fees, books, dormitory fees, etc. Applicants must have a 2.5 or higher GPA, submit a letter of recommendation, and there is a $5 fee upon applying for the scholarship. These are for $12,000/yr. To be considered, you must be a senior in good standing who will graduate from an accredited Arizona high school. You must be a first-generation college student, have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, have a combined SAT score of 1040 or composite ACT score of 22, and demonstrate financial need. This is for $1,275. This is for applicants pursuing a four-year degree in agronomy, crop or plant science, horticulture, business/landscape/nursery or turfgrass management, agricultural communications, public relations, sales or marketing, entomology, or plant pathology. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must reside in Arizona, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, or Washington (state). This gives up to two monetary scholarships that will be awarded to high school seniors majoring in accounting in the amount of $1,000. Students must be legal U.S. residents and current residents of Arizona. They must also be attending an Arizona university or community college. The deadline is February 7th. Learn more here.

Gold Chapter Scholarship is for $500. This is given to three individuals who are affiliated members of a chapter that will be recognized as a Gold Chapter according to the Outstanding Chapter Award guidelines. Applications close on February 16th. Click here to learn more. 

Arizona FCCLA Scholarship awards a $1,000 scholarship to three individuals pursuing post-secondary education opportunities. Applications close on February 16th. Click here to apply. 

 

This provides $10,000 and two $5,000 awards to high school seniors who promote vegetarianism in their schools or communities. Students must submit an essay outlining how they encouraged vegetarianism at their high school or in their community, challenges they faced, and future goals they have. J&J Trujillo Memorial Scholarship provides $12,500 to high school seniors and high school graduates who are residents of Arizona, Minnesota, or New Mexico. Applicants must attend or plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited trade or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year. They must also be pursuing a trade degree or certificate (eligible programs include but are not limited to, HVAC, Electrical, Automotive, Plumbing, Carpentry…). The deadline is February 20th. This provide up to $3,000 annually for dependent sons and daughters of Simon Property Group employees. High school seniors and college students under 23 planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the fall are eligible. Call to Action (CTA) Scholarship provides need-based financial assistance of up to $25,000 per year. To be eligible, you must be a graduating high school senior, be a resident of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Nevada, and Utah and meet all in-state residency requirements for college of attendance, have a 3.0+ high school GPA, file FAFSA, and have a goal of earning a bachelor’s degree within four years or an associate’s degree within two years. Other requirements for scholarship recipients must be met as well, including meetings with CTA advisors and going to CTA meetings; more details about them are on the website. MathWorks Math Modeling (M3) Challenge gives the winning teams scholarship awards totaling over $100,000. Any high school juniors and seniors (U.S.) and sixth form students (England and Wales) are eligible. The deadline is February 21st. More info here.

 

This is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses. To be considered, students must intend to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university as an undergraduate for the first time in the fall. That is to say, students in their junior year of high school, or the equivalent if homeschooled, are eligible to apply. Students must also be citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States of America. The deadline to apply is February 23. Learn more here.

They have chosen to provide scholarships to High School Seniors and College students. The AES desires to support students pursuing a degree in wildlife sciences or other closely related fields. These scholarships are available to students who will attend or are already attending accredited colleges and universities. Applicants must have a 2.7 GPA. The amount varies and the deadline for applications is February 24th. Application here.

Shared Energy Future Foundation STEM Scholarship awards $1,500 to STEM students. Applicants should be a high school senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher who will be attending college next Fall with a major in the STEM field and has demonstrated financial need. Letters of recommendation are required, and the deadline is February 28th. Apply here.

 

Shared Energy Future Foundation Trades Scholarship awards $1,000 to trade school students. Applicants must be high school seniors from CA, AZ, NV, OR, or WA with a 2.0 GPA or higher, or a 1st Year Apprentice who will pursue one of the following fields (listed on website) in trade school. Financial need will be considered, and the deadline is February 28th. Learn more here

 

Marty Rosness Student Scholarship offers $2,500. Applicants must be enrolled in an aviation-related degree or program in the state of Arizona, and they are not required to be a member of AzAA to apply. The deadline is February 28th. More info here.

 

March

The Nina Mason Pulliam Scholars program provides for the cost of attendance for up to six years at participating universities and four years at participating community colleges, plus additional services. The target population is adults with dependents in their family unit, college-age youth, adults with physical disabilities, and 18 to 25-year-olds who have experienced foster care or been disconnected from their parents or primary caregiver and are responsible for their own financial support. Porter Fleming Literary Competition awards a total of $7,000 to the winners. Writers, ages 18 and older, who reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, D.C, are eligible. The four categories a student can choose from are fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and one-act play. The deadline is March 1st. Apply here.

AWS National Scholarships range from $2,500 to $10,000+. To be considered, you must submit two references, official transcripts, and demonstrate financial need. AWS members hold preference over non-members. Applications open December 1st and end on March 1st. More info here.

Baird Scholarship is worth $12,500/yr, renewable for 3 additional years. To be eligible, you must be a high school senior admitted to the University of Arizona, be an Arizona resident who has attended an Arizona high school, be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident, and have a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.75 or higher. Horatio Alger Association Undergraduate Scholarships offers varying amounts for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. To apply for any of the undergraduate scholarships, you have to fill out their application form. The deadline to apply is March 1st. More info here.  

CU Succeed Scholarship awards two applicants $2,000 to high school seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Applicants must have good credit union standing and be enrolled in a full-time accredited college, university, community college, or technical/trade school in Arizona. The deadline to apply is March 3rd. More details here.  

CFSA’s General Scholarship is open to all graduates of Southern Arizona high schools (Yuma, Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties, and regions of Graham, Greenlee, Pinal, and Maricopa counties south of the Gila River). This scholarship supports Southern Arizona students in pursuing their educational dreams and opportunities. The first-year award is $2,000. The second year’s award is $2,500. The third and fourth-year award amount is $4,000 per year. The scholarship may be used at a community college or a 4-year university. Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled full-time to be eligible for this scholarship. The deadline to apply is March 5th. More info here.

Boilard-Harkin Scholarship is for students beginning their post-secondary studies at a community college. It awards up to $1,250 annually, and recipients may reapply for a second year of funding. The deadline to apply is March 5th. Learn more here.

Pauline Miguel Scholarship supports high school seniors from Ajo, Baboquivari, Pueblo, Tucson, Desert View, or Sunnyside High Schools who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited public college or university. Tohono O’Odham Nation members are given preference. The amount is $1,000 (non-renewable), and the deadline to apply is March 5th. More info here. 

Jacques-Wegner Scholarship offers one annual $3,000 scholarship that can be renewed 4 times to support students. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university. The deadline to apply is March 5th. Read more here. 

RMACAC Student Scholarship offers fifteen $1,000 scholarships to students in each of our member states: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Students must have at least a 3.0 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale), and other eligibility requirements are listed on the website. The deadline is March 7th. Read more here.

100 Club of Arizona Scholarship ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 and is given to students pursuing a course of study beyond high school as undergraduate students. Eligible programs include, but are not limited to, accredited colleges and universities and post-secondary trade schools. To be considered, you must be an Immediate family member (child, spouse, stepchild, or grandchild (cousins, aunts/uncles or other extended family are not eligible) of an active, retired, or deceased police officer or firefighter. AHLA Foundation Scholarship ranges from $2,000 to $7,000. Applicants should be college students who want to further their studies and ultimately build a rewarding career in hospitality. The deadline is March 17th. Learn more here.

Desert Financial Community Service Scholarship honors exceptional students who have volunteered for 50 or more hours of community service with $3,000 awards. The 50 hours or more completed must have been from the previous year, so 2025 for 2026 applications. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, must plan to attend an in-state college or university, must be a Desert Financial member (or related to a member), and must demonstrate financial need. NIADA Foundation Regional Scholarship awards $2,500 to high school seniors with an interest in the automotive industry. Applicants in Arizona apply for the scholarship under Region IV. An official high school transcript, essay, letters of recommendation, and SAT or ACE scores are also required. The deadline to apply is no later than March 21st. Read more and apply here.

On average, 6 scholarships $1,000 and above are awarded each spring. The primary focus for each applicant should be quality, a cohesive body of work, and clear documentation, along with a well-written personal statement. To apply, you must be a full-time fine art student from Arizona’s universities and community colleges. The deadline to enter is March 23rd. Learn more here.

ASU-Armstrong Family Foundation Scholarship is for $8,000. If you are an orphan, a ward of the court, living with extended family, in foster care, an independent student without financial support, or if you have experienced extreme life circumstances – this opportunity is for you. You must be an Arizona resident, a US citizen, be admitted to ASU, and be seeking a degree full-time. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The deadline is March 25th. More details here.

Calcot-Seitz Scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in agriculture and is from a cotton-growing area in Arizona. Scholarship amounts vary from $1,000-$3,000. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Learn more here.

Foster Care to Success Scholarship ranges from $1,500-$5,000, which is based on a combination of need and merit. To be eligible, applicants must have been in public or private foster care for the 12 consecutive months leading up to and including their 18th birthday; OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship after their 16th birthday; OR have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday and not subsequently adopted. You must have also been accepted into or expect to be accepted into an accredited, Pell-eligible college or other postsecondary school. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Learn more here.

AFCCA William Aaron Scholarship is for $1,000. To be eligible, you must be a college freshman at Chandler Gilbert Community College studying mortuary science. You must also be a full-time student and resident of Arizona. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Read more here.

The AZALAS Scholarship is for $1,500 and will be provided to students who will be attending a higher institution of post-secondary education. To be eligible, you must be a graduating high school senior, have one parent of Hispanic heritage, and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The deadline is March 31st. Application found here. 

Continuing Education and Job Training Program (Casey Family Programs) is for $500. To be eligible, applicants must have received foster care, guardianship, or adoption services from Casey Family Programs in Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, or Wyoming. They must also be starting or currently attending a technical school, college, or university in pursuit of a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or postgraduate degree. National Federation of the Blind Scholarships awards over thirty $8,000 merit-based scholarships. Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes, must be residing in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico, must be 18 years of age, must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a United States institution in the fall of the year of application, and must be participating in person in the entire NFB National Convention and all of its scheduled scholarship program activities (finalists will receive assistance to attend the national convention). The Executive Women International Scholarship Program provides two scholarships that range in value annually to high school seniors planning to pursue post-secondary education. Students must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership qualities, good citizenship, and extracurricular involvement. Applicants enrolled in a public, private, charter, parochial school, or home school located within the boundaries of the participating EWI Chapter can apply. The minimum GPA required is 3.0. April

The First Year Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship will award scholarships to high school graduates who are planning to enroll in an accredited university, college, junior college, or technical school. The applicant must have a total cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 and be Roman Catholic. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 1st. Apply here.

The annual award amount is the difference between the amount of tuition paid by an out-of-state student and the amount paid by an in-state student at the same institution, in the same educational program, for the identical number of credit hours. Non-residents of Maryland who attend a two-year or four-year public institution in Maryland are eligible. The deadline is April 1st. More info here.

Arizona VFW Auxiliary Merit Scholarship is for high school seniors. To be eligible, you must be a resident of Arizona and a graduating high school senior. You should also be the son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter of a member of the VFW or in the VFW Auxiliary. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 1. Application found here. 

The ScholasTIC Tourettes Scholarship is for $1,000. This is open to students with Tourette’s syndrome. Eligible students must also be qualified for admission to an accredited college (junior college or 4-year college) or trade school at mid-term or at the end of the current school year during which the award is made. West Coast Equine Foundation Scholarship Program is awarded to assist individuals with their educational goals. It is available to applicants residing in CA, NV, AZ, OR & WA. Applicants must be pursuing further education in an equine-related field of study. The awarded amount varies and the deadline is April 3rd. More info here.

Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse Scholarship gives awards of $1,000. This is for seniors graduating from a Yavapai County High School. The scholarship can be used at a University, Junior College, or Trade School of their choice. The deadline to apply is April 5th. Application found here.

Ralph Hooker Memorial Scholarship is for $1,000. This is given to high school seniors planning to attend Yavapai College only. Some requirements include a photograph of the applicant and a 300-word statement. The deadline to apply is April 5th. Apply here.

Desert Financial Credit Union Scholarship awards $3,000 to exceptional students who have volunteered 50 or more hours of community service. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, plan to attend an in-state college or university, be a Desert Financial member (or related to a member), and show financial need. The 7×24 Exchange Rocky Mountain Chapter seeks to award up to $5,000 to students associated with the mission-critical support industry. Applicants under the age of 18 at the time of application submission must have their application co-signed by their parent or legal guardian. Applicants must live in the Rocky Mountain region. WGA “CELEBRATE THE WEST” Competition ranges from $200 to $600. This is a regional art competition that challenges high school and home-schooled students to create works inspired by their state. To be considered, students must be in a school in Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming. Kiwanis Club of Prescott Community Service Scholarship is for local students who have exemplified their community spirit through community service and volunteerism. Applicants must provide written proof of community services. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 14th. Application available here.

Mattie Cowan Scholarship is for $1,500. This is given to Arizona high school seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA and a ranching or agricultural background. Priority is given to those who have taken agriculture-related classes, or will/are working towards an agriculture major. The deadline to apply is April 15th. Application found here. 

Arizona Food Marketing Alliance Scholarship gives varying amounts to AFMA member companies and their dependents. Student applicants must be an Arizona resident, must have a parent/guardian who is a current employee with an AFMA member company with at least one year of service and be under the age of 26, must attend an accredited community college, college or university in the state of Arizona, must plan to obtain a degree, and must carry a minimum of 9 credit hours and complete all course with a 2.0 GPA, or better. Caballeros de Yuma Continuing Education Scholarships are offering four $1,000, one $2,500, and one $5,000 award to applicants from all continuing education applications. The deadline to apply is April 16th. More info here.  

Caballeros de Yuma Presidential Memorial Scholarship gives nine $1,000, two $3,500, and one $10,000 award. This will be awarded to graduates from all memorial applications from Antelope HS, Kofa HS, Cibola HS, Yuma HS, Gila Ridge HS, San Luis HS, or Yuma Catholic HS. This is also given to one graduating senior selected from applications submitted from Yuma County Charter Schools (Carpe Diem Collegiate High School, Aztec High School, PPEP TEC, Harvest Preparatory Academy, and Educational Opportunity Center Charter School – YPIC, and Vista Alternative School). Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is for $1,000. This is given to graduating seniors who live in Prescott Valley. The scholarship selection will be based on the demonstration of a student who succeeds in the classroom in spite of facing challenges in life. The deadline is April 18th. The Davis Memorial Foundation Scholarship provides an opportunity for students interested in attending trade school, college, or university with an interest in obtaining a degree related to the construction industry. Applicants will be awarded $5,000 and must be affiliated with the roofing industry. Applicants must be residents in the WSRCA service area: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Charles P. Lake – Rain for Rent Scholarship is for $1,500 to select universities. This is given to applicants pursuing a four-year degree in general agriculture, agricultural business management, agricultural engineering, agricultural power and equipment, and soil or water conservation, with preference to those specializing in irrigation and soil technology. MayesTelles Scholarship is given to Arizona high school seniors who plan on enrolling in a community college or university and need additional financial assistance. They will be awarding a $2,500.00 scholarship to cover education expenses, and this is renewable for up to four years. To be eligible, you must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher. You must attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year school. The deadline to apply is April 30th. More details here.

Tzu Chi USA Scholarship awards $1,500. Applicants must demonstrate financial need for college tuition and related expenses, must be a U.S. high school graduating senior or equivalent, must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and must enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time. May

The Wildcat Tuition Award is a highly competitive undergraduate tuition scholarship offered annually to a select number of Arizona resident high school graduates who are first-time, full-time, degree-seeking students. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The amount offered correlates to GPA and the deadline to apply is May 1st. Read more here.

The Beaty Martinez Foundation Scholarship Program awards underprivileged students with a scholarship of up to $10,000. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside in Arizona and will attend an in-state university or community college by the time of the award. Students must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here.

PMI Academic Scholarships are open to students pursuing project management or project management-related fields of study. Eligibility for PMI scholarships may vary, and PMI membership is not required to apply for and/or receive a scholarship. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here

CARM STAKER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP offers $1,000 to two applicants. This is given to BMHS seniors with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Students must also be attending an accredited 2 or 4-year college starting Fall. The deadline is May 2nd. Apply here.

Phoenix Pride Scholarship is for $5,000. This is given to college students in the local community who are LGBTQ+ members or allies. Applicants must be residents of Arizona who are enrolled as full-time students while receiving the scholarship. Applicants must submit the FAFSA and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. “ACT GOODE” Scholarship is for $1,000. To be eligible, students must be of African-American/Black heritage, be a graduating High School Senior currently enrolled at a Phoenix-area high school (public or charter), and show financial need. The deadline to apply is May 16th. Learn more here.

 

Vantage West Scholarship Program awards to outstanding students who have applied to or anticipate acceptance at a post-secondary educational institution in Arizona. MGMA Western Section Scholarship awards $3,000. This is for individuals residing in states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming) who are current MGMA members and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management. The Wish Foundation Arizona provides financial assistance to high school graduates who wish to pursue post-secondary education in Arizona colleges or universities in their chosen fields. The National Ocean Scholar Program awards $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing careers in ocean sciences and environmental sciences. Applicants must have, at least once in high school, participated in the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB). Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation and one piece of media, with a written description that highlights their experience with the NOSB. The deadline to apply is June 2nd. Helen Gee Chin Scholarship ranges from $2,000 to $3,500. Applicants must have U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency, must have five or more years of study in Chinese Martial Arts (Kung Fu, Wu Shu, or Tai Chi), must have a B average grade or better, and must have enrolled in an accredited U.S. four-year college or university for the entire academic year for which the applicant is applying. Arizona BPW Foundation Scholarship promotes the advancement of Arizona’s working women through scholarships, research, and education. Scholarships are awarded to women 19 years or older who are returning to school at a community college to acquire better job opportunities or advance their current careers. The Miss Arizona and Miss Arizona’s Outstanding Teen Program provides unparalleled scholarships and service opportunities to young women in the Grand Canyon State. More than 50 young women representing all corners of Arizona compete at the State competition each year to earn more than $30,000 in cash and $500,000 in scholarships. By providing a platform for tomorrow’s leaders to express their opinions, talents, character, and intelligence, the organization seeks to aid in personal development, better the community and state at large, and display the importance of service before self. The SAEMS Scholarship supports students planning to work in the environmental field or focus on solutions to environmental problems with $500 to $2,500 per award. Applicants must be pursuing a career in the environmental area, be a full-time University of Arizona undergraduate or graduate, have a 2.5+ GPA, and be a SAEMS member. The deadline is July 1st. Mennonite Aid Plan Scholarship provides $1,000 to five students. Applicants have to be a member or regular attender of a Mennonite, Mennonite Brethren, Brethren in Christ, Missionary (Vinia), or Church of the Brethren church in AZ, CA, OR or WA (West Coast), have to be enrolled in a 4-year college, university or graduate school on the West Coast, and have to be at least a college junior with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). ARIZONA PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY 2025 FOUR CORNERS POWER PLANT NAVAJO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM awards $1,000 to $1,500 per school year. Eligible applicants are those who reside and/or attend an accredited educational institution in the Northern Navajo Agency and San Juan County (N.M.), major in a utility-related field of study, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher, and have a minimum semester GPA of 2.00 or higher. AISES Stellantis Scholarship awards $20,000 per student (tool allotment included). Eligible Students must be enrolled full-time and accepted into a college with a Mopar CAP or Mopar CAP Local curriculum and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. The deadline is July 30th. Read more here.

 

Academic Achievement Bachelor’s Scholarship is worth $2,000. All University of Phoenix students who are actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, have taken a minimum of 24 credits, have at least 18 credits remaining in a bachelor’s degree program, have an aggregate GPA of 3.75 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), and have not had an unapproved break in attendance greater than 14 days in the last 365 days except for an approved leave of absence as of the scholarship deadline are eligible. HUSTLE Hearts Foundation Scholarships are for high school seniors residing in Arizona or non-residents planning to enroll in a full-time accredited 4-year university or community college in Arizona. The awarded amount is three scholarships of $1,000 and $500. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, be of Hispanic heritage, and be a first-generation college student. The deadline to apply is July 31st. SSA Student Activist Scholarship supports students who, in addition to pursuing excellence in their academic studies, are also activists for secular values on their campus and/or in their community. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in a United States middle school, high school, trade school, university, or college, and must provide 1-2 references. This is for seniors who are Yavapai County residents. This scholarship will cover tuition not otherwise covered by FAFSA, YC, or other 3rd party grants, discounts, or scholarships. The deadline is August 1st. More info. here.

This awards two $2,500 scholarships to students enrolled in pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs. The goal is to support applicants with a strong passion for a nursing career in Arizona. Prior to applying, applicants must complete at least one semester of BSN program courses and be a member of the Student Nurses Association. The deadline to apply is August 1st. AISES National Conference Travel Scholarship covers the costs of conference registration fees, economy class round-trip airfare, and lodging. Eligible students must be full-time at a two-year or four-year college or university, enrolled in a program leading to an academic degree in a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) field, and have a 3.0 or higher GPA. APTA Arizona Scholarship awards financial support to selected PT and PTA students currently enrolled in programs within the geographical boundaries of the State of AZ. This offers $1,500 to all students in the US ages 14 and older who are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or planning to enroll no later than fall 2025. Pizza Hut Scholarship Program gives awards of up to $5,000 for tuition assistance. Students must demonstrate financial need and show leadership and community involvement in and around our Pizza Hut communities. Applicants must be enrolled in or on track to apply to two- or four-year colleges or universities undergraduate programs, vocational-technical schools, and trade schools. They must also be legal residents of the United States, Guam, or D.C., be at least age 17, and no older than 26. Additionally, they must be eligible for federal financial aid at the college or school they plan to attend. The deadline is September 5th. More info here.

This is a highly selective full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority high school  seniors. This covers the full cost of attendance that is not already covered by financial aid. BBB Ethical Torch Essay Scholarship awards five students in Greater Arizona, five students in Orange County, California, and five students in San Diego County, California with financial aid that ranges from $500 to $1,500. Students in grades 9-12 (graduating classes of 2025-2028) residing and enrolled in school in Apache, Coconino, Gila, Imperial, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Orange, Pinal, San Diego, Yavapai, or Yuma Counties are invited to apply for this scholarship opportunity. This provides an unparalleled package for undergraduate study at an Arizona public university for Arizona’s highest-achieving high school seniors each year. Flinn Scholars, who can attend Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, or the University of Arizona, also benefit from working with top faculty and researchers, meeting business and civic leaders in their field, and forming their own community and alumni network. As a general rule, Flinn Scholarship applicants should attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average and rank in the top 5 percent of their graduating class. The deadline is October 21st. Apply here.

Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures™ Scholarships provide awards from $1,000 to $25,000 to Team Members who work at a franchised, company-owned, and/or affiliated restaurant. Applicants should be current postsecondary undergraduate or graduate students or planning to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school. Arizona Breaking Barriers Scholarship awards $3,000 to fifteen Arizona high school seniors. Applicants must participate in a high school or other organized sporting team, such as a league or club, must plan to attend an in-state college or university in the fall, must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher, and must demonstrate financial need. A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Scholarship supports students with personal or family involvement in Arizona or California agriculture with need-based financial support. Students entering any phase of their undergraduate college career in 2025, at any school, and in any field of study, are allowed to apply as long as they and/or a member of the immediate family (parents/siblings/grandparents) have been or are currently involved in CA or AZ agriculture. IDSA Design Foundation Industrial Design Undergraduate Scholarship awards $5,000 for undergraduate course tuition fees in the completion of an industrial design degree. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student pursuing an industrial design degree in the United States and have at least one semester of undergraduate studies remaining before graduation, and must be earning a “B” or better cumulative GPA. The David Malcolm Scholarship gives $2,500 to students who have overcome obstacles to educational achievement and require help to continue on the path to success. Applicants must be high school seniors already accepted into an accredited college or university or current students enrolled at an accredited college or university full-time (this includes undergraduate, graduate, etc.), must have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and must submit a 1000-word essay. The ASCA High School Student Scholarships awards three high school seniors a $2,000.00 non-renewable scholarship to assist with post-secondary education costs. To be considered, you must be a high school senior attending a public or private secondary school in the state of Arizona. You must also be a permanent resident of the state of Arizona and have a school counselor employed by your school who is an Arizona School Counselors Association member. The Rose Mofford Award gives $1,000 and a buckle. Applicants must be an Arizona Resident and a junior exhibitor at the current Arizona National Livestock Show. The deadline is December 1st. More info here.

 

The Dreamers of Tomorrow Scholarship helps support undocumented medical and pre-medical students attending school in the LMSA West Region states (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho). This organization awards two scholarship recipients with a one-time scholarship in the amount of $1,800. To be eligible, you must be committed to pursuing a career in medicine and dedicated to serving the undocumented community. The deadline is December 6th. More info here.

 

PinPoint Leak Detection’s Innovation Scholarship is for $1,000. To be eligible, you must be an Arizona resident, be registered as a student at an accredited college or university in Arizona only, and have at least a 2.5 GPA. The deadline to apply is December 19th. Learn more here. 

TNNursery Growing Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program awards 20 scholarships annually, ranging from $500 to $1,000, to students pursuing higher education degrees. To be eligible, you need to be current or incoming students at accredited colleges or universities, be majoring in plant science, horticulture, agriculture, or any “green” field of study, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The Arizona Private School Association Scholarship is for $1,000 or $500 for programs shorter than 13 weeks. The scholarship is available to current high school senior graduates from Arizona public, charter, or private schools. It is only valid at certain institutions. The deadline is December 31st. The PUHSD Districtwide Scholarship gives three awards of varying amounts. This provides college scholarships to graduating seniors of the Phoenix Union High School District who are pursuing post-secondary education (community college, university, or trade school) regardless of GPA. The deadline to apply varies. Apply here.

The Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) is the largest private provider of scholarships in Arizona. There are more than 80 different types of scholarship funds available. Almost all of them are for undergraduate study at a college or university. Many of them target students graduating from a specific high school or starting their studies in a particular field of study. The deadline varies. Read more here.

Kids’ Chance Scholarships For The Future is awarded to children of Arizona workers who have been fatally or seriously injured in a valid work-related accident, resulting in a financial need to complete their education. To qualify for help, the parent’s work-related injury or death must have led to a substantial decline in family income. The applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 25. Students eligible for the Champions Scholarship must be current or recent wards of the Yavapai County Juvenile Court. The Scholarship is available at both the Verde and Prescott Campuses. Scholarships cover costs for tuition, books, and fees for full or part-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program. Deadlines are July 1st for the Fall semester, December 1st for the Spring semester, and May 1st for the Summer semester. More details here.

Chief Scott R. Miller Fire Science Scholarship (FCAPC) supports Central Arizona College students enrolled in the Fire Science program with expenses or fees not related to tuition costs. Recipients receive an award of $500 per semester for a total of $1,000 per academic year. To be eligible, recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours, maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and be a graduate of a Pinal County high school. The deadline for the fall semester is June 7th, and for the spring semester is December 6th. Apply here.

AzLeap Scholarship ranges from $1,000 to $2,500. This is given to Arizona residents enrolled at least half-time as undergraduate students at an Arizona college or University and who qualify for the Pell Grant. The deadline varies. For more information, click here. 

Boise State WUE Scholarship covers 150% of the resident tuition, allowing students to save $15,680 annually. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents in the following territories; Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, American Samoa, Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federal States of Micronesia. Recipients must be enrolled in at least 12 credits each semester and have a 3.90 or higher GPA. The deadline to apply is December 15th for the fall semester and October 1st for the spring semester. Alisa’s Angels Scholarships will award $5,000 to up to 8 graduating seniors who are committed to service to others. One of the eight will also be given the Dinesh Memorial STEM Scholarship for an additional $5,000. To be eligible, you must be a graduating high school senior from Arizona and have a GPA of 2.75 or higher. The deadline varies from March 1st to May 1st. More info here. 

Ingebritson Family Scholarship is up to $2,000 for community college and $3,000 for a 4-year university. To be eligible, students must attend ASU, NAU, Maricopa Community Colleges, Yavapai College, or Eastern Arizona College and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students must also be majoring in Nursing, Education, Finance, or Engineering. Financial needs must be demonstrated. The deadline varies from March 1st to May 1st. Website found here. 

Arizona Earn to Learn is a matched-savings scholarship. Eligible students and their families deposit $500 into a savings account each year, then receive an 8:1 match through combined university support and other public and philanthropic funding. This creates $4,500 per academic year in total available funds for tuition, fees, room and board, and other costs to support educational success. The deadline varies. Read more here. 

The Western Undergraduate Exchange is a merit-based program that allows students to choose from hundreds of undergraduate programs across the West and pay no more than 150% of the institution’s resident tuition rate. Applicants must be from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming. Northern Arizona University Lumberjack Scholars Award offers an annual amount fixed at first-year tuition to Arizona residents attending NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus as incoming first-year students. Applicants must have a 3.75 or higher GPA on their high school transcript. No application is required; students will be considered for the scholarship at the time of application by the decision committee. The deadline varies. Read more here. 

New American University Scholarship pays 25% of in-state tuition. This is given to students attending Arizona State University who graduated from an Arizona high school, ranked in the top 10% of their class, and are registered as full-time incoming freshmen. No application is required; the student will be considered for the scholarship at the time of application by the decision committee. Freeport-McMoRan Native American Scholarships are open to various Native American Tribe members who attend community colleges, tribal colleges, and four-year universities. Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation Scholarship offers four-year university/college applicants a scholarship up to $5,000 per calendar year ($2,500/semester) and community college applicants a scholarship up to $2,000 per calendar year ($1,000/semester).
