Missouri Scholarships

Important Note: The purpose of this detailed listing is to help you plan your scholarship search throughout the year. Please find information below about scholarships for Missouri students. Some of the deadlines may be from prior years. Scholarship deadlines are cyclical, so even if a deadline has passed, the website will likely be updated for the 2023-24 cycle. January

This is for residents of any state, excluding Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Incoming freshmen are considered for these scholarships based on an overall assessment of the application for admission. Full consideration for academic scholarships is given to students who complete an application for freshman admission by either the Early Action (November 1st) or Regular (January 1st) application deadlines. Recipients must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or eligible under the Minnesota Dream Act. The deadline to apply is January 1st. Visit the website.

This is is awarded to high school seniors who are pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree can apply online and then visit their local participating Ford Truck dealer for signature and dealer code. The deadline to apply is January 12th. Learn more here.

This includes one graduate scholarship ($600), one undergraduate scholarship ($500), and six conservation education grants for elementary, high school or youth group programs ($250 each). In the latter category, adult leaders who work with the Boy/Girl Scouts, 4-H, environmental clubs, etc. are eligible and encouraged to apply. Graduate applicants must be enrolled in a field of study related to conservation, natural science or earth resources at an accredited college/university. This is for $2000. This provides support for graduating high school seniors with their college education through scholarship. Applicants must have a 3.4 gpa plan to attend college/university, citizens or permanent residents of the US. The deadline to apply is January 31st. Read more here.

This is a $1,000 scholarship established to provide financial aid to encourage and assist minority students who are interested in a career in natural resource management, especially in the fields of Fisheries, Wildlife, Forestry, Parks and Recreation and Soil or Water Conservation.  The Foundation’s goal is ultimately to increase cultural diversity in Missouri’s state and federal natural resource agencies. must have been accepted and enrolled as an undergraduate in a Missouri college or university and should have already selected a major in a natural resource field. This gives an $1000 award to  students who have worked to advance racial equity in their communities. The deadline to apply is January 31st. Learn more here.

This award will cover students’ tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $80,000 for a bachelor’s degree. This Scholarship is open to students who live in Alaska, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, West Virginia or Wisconsin. In other words, this scholarship is for undocumented students who live in states where they effectively have no access to college – either because they face paying out-of-state tuition or because their state will simply not admit them into its universities. February

This is up to $5000 and is given to students who are deserving in college and  pursuing regular faculty and curriculum. High school senior applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, college applicants must have at least a 2.75 GPA, and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The application deadline is February 10th. This offers awards up to $1000 to Missouri high school students from a Missouri farm or rural area. Applicants plan to attend 2 or 4 colleges and major in agronomy or related fields. The deadline to apply is February 10th. Learn more here

This offers awards up to $1000 by check for multiple-birth students seeking initial enrollment in accredited post high school education or training. Applicants must reside within the St. Louis, MO-IL metropolitan statistical areas (MSA) which includes the City of St Louis; the Missouri counties of Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis, Warren, Washington, or Crawford; or, the Southern Illinois counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, or St. Clair (the Metro East). This offers awards up to $3000 to support dependent sons or daughters of a full- or part-time employee of Simon Property Group. Students must attend a 2 or 4 year college majoring in Agriculture, Natural Resources or related field as aligned with the Missouri Association of Resource Conservation & Development Councils mission. This offers $2,000 to Gainesville High School Senior who is female and volunteered at least twelve hours as a mentor to a younger student, or as an assistant to a senior in the community. This offers up to $1,500 (1st place), $1,000 (2nd place), and $500 (third place) to high school seniors with a GPA of 2.0+ who are entering college and attending the Missouri Mayflower Society Spring Luncheon. This awards annually to 18–22 incoming first-year students who have shown exceptional academic accomplishment and promise, fine character and leadership, significant involvement in extracurricular activities, concern for their communities, and interest in the larger world. All high schools may nominate up to two seniors each year for consideration for the scholarship. Students who are not selected by their high school or otherwise wish to participate in the selection process can be considered for nomination by the Office of Admissions or the Office of International Services. This offers nine applicants awards up to either $2,000 (first place prize), $1,750 (second place prize), and $1,500 (third place prize) to legal US residents in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, who are 13-18 years old and currently enrolled in high school. April

This offer is given to African American and Black-graduating high school seniors. This scholarship ranges from $2,500 – $20,000 scholarship. A constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. The deadline to apply is April 28th. Learn more here.

This offer is awarded according to placement, 1st Place – $2,000; 2nd Place – $1,500; 3rd Place – $1,250 to African American high school juniors and seniors who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees in a variety of fields. A requirement of constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. This offer awards up to $5,000 to African American graduating high school seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in visual arts or performing arts. This Awards interest-free loans to students pursuing an education in fine arts or other arts at a post-secondary level at a recognized accredited academic institution. May

This offer awards up to $3,000 in sponsoring an academic scholarship for students from Kansas City, MO, pursuing associate, undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degrees in Project Management or related fields of study from accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities. July

This offers awards to students who advocate for wildlife conservation. There are three scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each available to deserving students. This award is intended for students with a passion for the outdoors and an interest in the management and protection of fish and wildlife resources. The scholarship will assist students who are currently studying wildlife, fisheries, or law enforcement. The deadline to apply is July 1st. Learn more here.

September

This is for $10,000 and is given to students in all states who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is September 25th. For more info., click on this link for more details.

October

This offers up to five $1,000 regional scholarships annually to college students who have completed an internship with an MBA-member bank. Applicants must be a Missouri resident or attend Missouri state college/university and must have at least college sophomore standing. Seniors may also apply if pursuing graduate studies. This gives a first-prize $5000 award to high school seniors from the 6 primary rice-growing states: Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. Not only that, but the second-place winner will receive a $3,000 scholarship, and the third-place winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship. November

This award is up to $11,000 and is based on high performance in academic coursework of the students that are outside of the state. The deadline to apply is November 1st. Read more here.

This award is a four-year IU Academic Scholarship awarded to incoming in-state first-year Indiana resident students based on high academic performance. Recipients will be notified by the Office of Scholarships via email and then followed by a letter in the mail. Notifications will happen mid-February and the deadline is on November 1st. The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering recognizes academically successful resident/non-resident students through $500 to $3,000 per year scholarships and the direct admit community. To be considered for these opportunities and receive the Selective Scholarship Application, students need to showcase competitive grades, SAT/ACT scores, class rank, and demonstrated leadership skills. Applicants will need to major in either the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Informatics, BS in Computer Science, BS in Intelligent Systems Engineering, BS in Data Science, or BS in Cybersecurity + Global Policy. This uses the Selective Scholarship Application to recognize high-achieving resident and non-resident students with awards ranging from $750 to $7,000 per year and are renewable for four years. The O’Neill School is looking for students with high GPAs and test scores, as well as those with an interest in leading for the greater good and having a positive impact on our world and in our communities. Students who have been invited to join a $1,000 to $3,000 per year scholarship program are also invited to complete the Selective Scholarship Application (SSA) to be considered for School of Education scholarships. The direct admit program is designed to serve a small number of highly qualified incoming freshmen who demonstrate a strong academic background and a commitment to teaching. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic merit, quality of their Selective Scholarship Application, commitment to teaching, intended teaching area, and/or other relevant factors. The UF currently offers a limited number of merit-based tuition waivers designed to reduce the out-of-state tuition for selected students: Alumni Scholarship (up to $8,000 per year (Fall/Spring, total up to $32,000 over 4 years)), Sunshine Scholarship (up to $16,000 per year (Fall/Spring, total up to $64,000 over 4 years)), and Gator Nation Scholarship (up to $20,000 per year (Fall/Spring, total up to $80,000 over 4 years)). December

In an amount of $10,000, the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc is developed through the generosity of its members and provides aid to students in all states who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Deadlines Vary

This offer varies scholarship to the child of a public safety officer or a Missouri Department of Transportation employee engaged in the construction or maintenance of the state’s highways, roads, and bridges killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. Students must be Missouri residents and US citizens or permanent residents. Learn more here.

This offer awards of up to $16,000 to under-represented minority students in the fields of engineering and computer science. Applicants must be in a partnering university with a NACME Program and a minimum GPA of 2.8. Read more here.

This offer awards up to $6,000 to any student entering the DC, ND, MSOM, or MSAc program at the National University for the first time with a GPA of 3.5+. Recipients must enroll in at least 15 credit semesters. This award is a single award payable one time only to each recipient. Learn more here.

This Offers awards of up to $4000 to any student entering the DC, ND, MSOM, or MSAc program at National University for the first time, with a 3.25+ gpa. Recipients must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each trimester. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $2,000 to any student entering the DC, ND, MSOM, and MSAc program at National University with a GPA of 3.0 – 3.24. Recipients must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each trimester. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $20,000 to repay part of a Soldier’s qualifying student loans. Only specified Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs) qualify for the LRP. Soldiers must enlist for a minimum of six years and have a high school diploma. More details here.

This offers awards of up to $15,000 to residents of any state, excluding Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin to freshmen of the University of Minnesota. Learn more here.

This offer awards up to $5,000 in scholarships as a service to the greater community. Most of our scholarship programs are for graduating high school seniors.
