January

WSC Graduating High School Senior Scholarship offers multiple scholarships to students who consistently participate in snowmobiling. Applicants must be a member of an AWSC recognized club and pass a snowmobile safety test.  The deadline to apply is January 3rd. Read more here.

 

Ford Built Tough Scholarship offers students $1,000 in financial support. Applicants must submit their application and travel to the nearest participating ford dealership to attain the dealer code. The deadline is January 9th. Read more here.

 

 MSSA Scholarship Program offers various scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students that are pursuing a degree related to health and human service-related fields. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution and submit proof of enrollment. Preference is given to individuals who are planning to work in the Midwest state. InspirASIAN Scholarship Program awards varying amounts of financial support to graduating high school seniors of any cultural background. Applicants must demonstrate academic success and a 3.40 GPA. Eligible individuals must reside within one of the listed states that have an active InspirASIAN chapter. The deadline to apply is January 31st. Read more here.

 

The Dream.US Opportunity Scholarship offers multiple awards worth up to $25,000 per year for undocumented high school seniors and college freshmen living in states where they face barriers to in-state tuition or admission. Applicants must attend one of TheDream.US’s partner colleges and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The application opens November 1, 2025, and closes January 31, 2026, with winners announced in mid-March 2026.Read more here 

February

Boys & Girls Clubs of America/Urban Scholars Program awards full tuition scholarships to students residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Applicants must have completed their FAFSA application and demonstrated leadership qualities. Black/African-american and African students are preferred. The deadline to apply is February 1st. Wisconsin Professional Police Association Scholarship Program is for Wisconsin residents enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school and studying police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field which does not include law school. WPS UW-Green Bay Phuture Phoenix Scholarship is for students who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay as full-time undergraduates. They must have participated in the Phuture Phoenix program. The application deadline is February 15th. Read more here.

 

Daughters and Sons Scholarship Program is for students under 24 who plan to attend a two or four year college or a vocational technical school as full-time undergraduates. Scholarships reward from a range of $1,000 to $4,000. The application deadline is February 12th. Read more here.

 

Tong Phia Xiong & Sale Lor Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors from the greater Wausau area. Students must show honor and respect for others in the application. The scholarship amount varies and the deadline is February 15th. Read more here..

 

Wausau School District Secretaries & Paraprofessionals Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors from the Wausau School District (including Wausau East, Wausau West, EEA Learning Academy, and Wausau EGL Academy). Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a current employee of the Wausau School District as a Wausau Education Support Professional (WESP) secretary or paraprofessional. Wausau Area H.O.P.E Hmong Women Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors from the greater Wausau area who are Hmong minority women. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater, embrace the Hmong culture and act as a positive role model for younger girls, exhibit character, motivation, and/or experience in overcoming obstacles, and display a desire to better the community. Burger, Leon & Alma Scholarship is for students graduating from a public or private high school within a 10 mile radius of Wausau City Hall. Students are selected based on academic achievement, financial need, and an interest and ability in the fields of health, teaching, or commerce. William K. Gottschalk Scholarship is for college or high school students planning to attend UW Marathon County or Northcentral Technical College. Students must show an ability and strong desire to pursue a career in engineering or accounting. The scholarship amount varies and the deadline is February 15th. Read more here 

 

UMSA Foundation Scholarship provides scholarships from $1,000 to $3,000 in financial support to college students who are seeking a degree related to Business continuity and disaster recovery, cybersecurity,  governance, risk and compliance, or physical security. The Ruth DeYoung Kohler Scholarship for Artistic Excellence awards multiple scholarships worth up to $100,000 to graduating high school seniors from Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, who demonstrate exceptional talent in the arts. Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing their work, along with an academic transcript and two letters of recommendation. The VANROSS Foundation funds high school seniors in the states of California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Wisconsin. $500 is awarded and the deadline is March 31st. Read more here.

 

Hmong Community Higher Education Scholarship is for students of Hmong descent pursuing a post-secondary education at an accredited college or university. Graduating high school seniors or college students of Hmong descent from Marathon, Lincoln, or Shawano Counties are eligible. The scholarship amount varies and the deadline is March 1st. Wausau Area Builders Association Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in the communities served by the WABA or NCT students enrolled in the building trades programs. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or greater. Preference will be given to students planning a career in the building shelter trades industry, and/or students with a parental or grandparent affiliation with the WABA. AWS Howard E. and Wilma J. Adkins Memorial Scholarship offers $2,500 in financial support to a student seeking a career in welding engineering. Applicants must be 18 or older and may reapply for the award. Financial need does not need to be demonstrated. The deadline is March 1st. Read more here.

 

Tall Clubs International Student Scholarships award $1,000 to students under age 21 that are endorsed by a TCI Member Club. Applicants must meet the height requirements (6’2 for men, 5’10 for women) and enroll in their freshman year of college to be considered eligible. The deadline to apply is March 1st. Academic Excellence Scholarships are for Wisconsin high school seniors with the highest grade point average in each public and private high school throughout the State of Wisconsin. The scholarship awards up to $2,250 per year. The deadline is March 10th. Read more here.

 

NIADA Foundation Regional Scholarships offers high school students who enrolled in their senior year $3,500 in financial support. Applicants must demonstrate academic success and potential for handling college courses. The deadline is March 21st. More details here.

 

Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame Scholarship is for Wisconsin residents pursuing an education in aviation or aerospace program as a full-time student. The scholarship amount varies and the deadline is March 15th. Read more here.

 

Stavri G. Joseph 4-Year High School Scholarship provides $500 for eight semesters ($4,000 in total) to incoming college freshmen who are seeking a career in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science. Walter (Coke) Fehl Hockey Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in the Wausau area. Applicants from East, West or DCE who have participated in a local hockey program and has demonstrated the characteristics of a team player with a strong work ethic are eligible. CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship awards full-time African-American/Black students up to $3,000 for degrees related to visual arts such as photography, graphic design, architecture and more. CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship offers African-American/Black students financial assistance awards for financial assistance (varies). Applicants must be seeking a performing arts degree, at least a 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment to be eligible for the scholarship. The deadline for applying is March 15th. Read more here.

 

Dave Ledo Scholarship is presented by Alarm Products Distributors. It is for the children of local first responders. The scholarship awards $2,500 and the deadline is March 31st. Read more here.

 

The Weber-Tingley-Klein Scholarship awards four scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $14,000 to graduating seniors of Shawano Community High School in Wisconsin. Eligible students must have at least a 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and plan to pursue a professional certification or college degree. The Promise Scholarship for Arcadia High School offers multiple awards ranging from $3,000 to $12,000 to graduating Hispanic seniors from Arcadia High School in Wisconsin. Eligible students must be planning to pursue a professional certification, associate, or bachelor’s degree and demonstrate financial need, respect for others, and a strong work ethic. The Quentin and Ermagard Kuenzli Family Scholarship awards four scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $11,500. It’s open to high school seniors and college students residing in select Wisconsin cities who plan to pursue an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting at an accredited institution. Bradley Foundation Scholarship is for graduating seniors from Antigo Senior High School. Students must demonstrate a concern for the welfare of the school and its students, show leadership skills and participation in organizations outside of school. AISES Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship awards $2,500 per year, up to 4 years, to American students of Indian descent who reside in Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation serviced states. Applicants must be pursuing one the eligible degrees and a 3.0 GPA. The deadline is April 30th. Read more here.

 

WRA Education Foundation Scholarship in Culinary & Hospitality awards approximately $25,000 of financial support to students pursuing culinary related careers such as Baking, Culinary, Hospitality, Food Science and Family and Consumer Science Education. Antioch Garden Club Community Scholarship awards $1,000 to students seeking a career related to Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Forestry, Environmental Concerns, Land Management, or City Planning. Allina Health EMPOWER (Encourage Minority Participation in Occupations with Emphasis on Rehabilitation) Scholarship is for applicants interested in rehabilitation. The scholarship is awarded based on the applicant’s stated intentions, past achievements, need, and graduation ranking. Up to $1,500 is given and the deadline to apply is April 30th. ISL Midwest Senior Scholarship offers $1,000  to high school senior students residing within the Midwest states in the US. Applicants must be planning to enroll in a college either virtually or physically. Financial need and GPA will not be taken into consideration. The deadline is April 30th. Read more here.

 

WPS Technical College Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors with financial assistance continuing their education at certain Wisconsin Technical Colleges. Recipients may elect any one-year technical diploma or two-year associate degree program. Applicants must be from northeast or central Wisconsin, plan to enroll as a full-time student, and apply to one of the partner colleges. The Ab Nicholas Scholarship awards between $5,000 and $10,000 to Wisconsin high school seniors who play basketball and plan to attend a University of Wisconsin System school full-time. Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and submit the FAFSA. The scholarship opens on February 1, 2025, and the deadline is expected in April 2026 Read more here

Wisconsin Women’s Alliance Foundation Scholarship is for female Wisconsin students attending a Wisconsin technical college or an accredited two-year or four-year Wisconsin college or university. Applicants must be female students ages 25 or older. The scholarship awards $1,000 and the deadline is May 1st. Read more here.

 

JCCIA John Fischetti Scholarship awards $2,000 to students of Italian descent (50% or more) and are seeking a degree in media communications or journalism. Applicants must demonstrate academic success and active participation in school activities. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Read more here..

 

Jamie Bax Memorial Scholarship helps support students living with Cystic Fibrosis and who need financial assistance to further their education after high school. The scholarship awards $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 to 3 people and the deadline is May 1st. Read more here..

 

Bill Cowden Memorial Aviation Scholarship awards up to $1,500 to private pilots that are seeking advanced training in the aviation field. Applicants must provide a resume and recommendation. The deadline to apply is May 31st. Read more here..

 

Wisconsin Architects Foundation Out-of-State Study Scholarship provides $1,000-$1,500 to students studying architecture outside the state of Wisconsin. Applicants must have graduated from a Wisconsin high school and provide one recommendation letter with their portfolio. The application deadline is May 15th. Read more here.

National Ocean Scholar Program offers students expressing an interest in marine/ ocean fields of study. Applicants must display academic success and have been involved in NOSB once in their highschool career. The deadline is June 2nd. Read more here. 

 

WSHA Student Scholarships offers multiple scholarships to college students who are seeking higher education. Requirements vary depending on the scholarship; however, most awards require the applicant to have completed a few semesters or in a graduate program. The deadline is June 28th. Read more here. 

 

Warrick Dunn Charities’ Hearts for Community Service Scholarship is for students who are active volunteers in their local communities and are attending a post-secondary institution. The scholarship awards $5,000 to applicants who are Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin residents. Applicants must also provide volunteer service in their local community and have a minimum GPA of 2.75. The deadline is June 30th. Read more here

 

The Scholarships360 $10,000 “No Essay” Scholarship is open to all U.S. citizens or permanent residents at any grade level, including high school, college, graduate, and adult learners. Applications open July 1st, and the deadline is June 30th. The Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant awards multiple Wisconsin minority college students between $250 and $2,500 annually. Eligible applicants must be Wisconsin residents, college sophomores, juniors, or seniors enrolled at a Wisconsin Technical College, Independent College or University, or Tribal College, and belong to specified minority groups. To apply, students must submit their FAFSA and be nominated by their Financial Aid Office by the June 30th deadline.Read more here 

The Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant awards between $600 and $1,800 to financially needy Wisconsin residents who are college freshmen attending an in-state university or technical college. To apply, students must complete the FAFSA and be nominated by their school’s financial aid office or Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Programs counselors. The application deadline is June 30th. The Hearing/Visually Impaired Student Grant Program offers multiple awards ranging from $250 to $1,800 for undergraduate Wisconsin residents who have a severe hearing or visual impairment and demonstrate financial need. To qualify, students must be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible Wisconsin or out-of-state institution and submit both the FAFSA and the grant application by June 30th. Read more here 

The Wisconsin Indian Student Assistance Grant offers multiple awards ranging from $250 to $1,100 for Wisconsin residents who are college or graduate students at Marquette University. Eligible applicants must be enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe or have at least one-fourth Native American ancestry, attend at least half-time, and demonstrate financial need by submitting the FAFSA. Stuck At Prom Scholarship Contest awards the winner of a prom attire competition $10,000 in prize money.  The eight runner ups will also be awarded various amounts of prize money as well. The winner will be decided by community voting. The deadline is July 9th. Read more here.

 

PACIM Rog Endowment Fund Award grants $2,000 of financial support to students with a passion for the study of Polish language, art and culture. Applicants must be of Polish descent and demonstrate their involvement with Polish community. Two letters of recommendation are required as well. The deadline is July 31st. Read more here.

 

JMK Women in Business awards $1,000 and $5,000 to women pursuing a business program specializing in accounting, economics, finance, business management, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship. The Zonta Club of Milwaukee applicants must reside in the Great Milwaukee Metro area or be a full-time, out-of-state student attending an accredited university, college or institute in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, or Kenosha counties. NACME Scholars (Block Grant) Program gives scholarships and grants to under-represented minority students who are seeking a degree in computer science or engineering. Applicants must have at least a 2.8 GPA  and demonstrate consistent progress to earning their degree.  Grant payments will be given in two installments. The Zonta Madison Women in STEM Award offers a $1,000 scholarship to Wisconsin female college and graduate students aged 18 to 35 who are pursuing education and careers in STEM fields. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation by the deadline of October 1st.Read more here

December

This awards a total of eight full-tuition scholarships as financial support to future Carthage students, providing $125,000 to freshman students. Applicants must be City of Kenosha residents, enrolling in Carthage college and participate in a competition to be eligible. The deadline is December 3rd. Read more here.

This is for incoming Carthage students eligible for the Wisconsin Tuition Grant. The grant offers from $250 to $3,800 per year and the deadline is December 3rd. Read more here.

This is for Wisconsin residents who demonstrate financial need and have severe or profound hearing or visual impairment. Up to $1,800 is provided per year for up to five years. The FAFSA must be filed in order to qualify for this grant, and the student must be at least half-time.The deadline is December 3rd. Read more here.

This is for minority students with exceptional financial need. Applicants will be awarded with grants ranging from $250 to $2,500. Students must be nominated in their sophomore year. The FAFSA must be filed to be considered. The deadline is December 3rd. Read more here.

This is for students who demonstrate exceptional need. Applicants will be awarded with a maximum grant of $1,800. Students who qualify may be nominated in their freshman year through Carthage to the state agency or can apply for this program at their Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Program (WEOP) Office. Scholarships are offered to young students who have persisted through adversity and less fortunate situations. Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution within Wisconsin and have at least a 2.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is December 15th. Read more here.

This awards students in 6th-12th grade through an art/writing contest. First place winners will receive $5,000 while 2nd place will receive $1,000 in awards. Submitted work will not be returned. Deadlines Vary

This awards up to $500 to students who enrolled in a non degree program such as career advancement or trade skills. Applicants must reside in Wisconsin or be treated at a Wisconsin hospital. Individuals suffering from bleeding disorders are the main targets of this scholarship. There is no deadline to apply. Read more here.
