American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Colorado offers up to $6,000 for young engineers. In order to apply, you must pursue an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintain full-time enrollment at an accredited Colorado university, show interest in engineering, and have relevant work experience in the last three years. InspirASIAN Scholarship Program gives a $2000 award to support graduating high school seniors with their college education. Applicants must have a 3.4 GPA, plan to attend college/university, be a citizen, and be a resident of one of the following states where we currently have participating InspirASIAN chapters. Princeton Prize in Race Relations (PPRR) honors and awards high school students who have made substantial contributions to racial justice and understanding in their schools or communities through voluntary activities. Clinton Helton Special Manufacturing Scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a manufacturing engineering or technology degree program at one of the following Colorado universities: All of the campuses of Colorado State University and the University of Colorado are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The awarded amount varies. Applicants for the scholarship must have completed at least 30 college credits and must be interested in pursuing a career in engineering or engineering technology. Simon Youth Greg Saunders Legacy Scholarship Program Accepted applicants may receive up to $3,000. This scholarship is not renewable, however, applicants can re-apply for up to 4 years. In order to be eligible, you must be the dependent son or daughter of a full-time or part-time employee of Simon Property Group who has been employed for at least one year, be 23 years old or younger, Be a high school senior or current college student planning to enroll in full-time; undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school. The Pinnacol Foundation College Scholarship Program rewards $4,700 per student per year. This money may only be used for the costs of attending school, therefore, it can be used for four-year, two-year, or trade programs at accredited colleges, universities, community colleges, and vocational schools. Applicants must be between the ages of 16 – 25, have a high school diploma, GED, or be a high school senior, they must maintain a GPA of 2.0, and must be a child or dependent of a worker who was injured or killed in a compensable work-related accident during the course and scope of employment with a Colorado-based employer and was entitled to receive benefits under the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act. Fast Forward Scholarship awards $1,000 to $5,000 to graduating high school students who plan on pursuing a one or two-year technical or vocational certification or associates degree. To qualify, applicants must be graduating from one of the following high schools: Aspen, Basalt, Roaring Fork, Bridges, Glenwood Springs, Yampah Mountain, Coal Ridge, Rifle, and Grand Valley high schools. Eligible programs include dental or health care assistance, radiation technology, auto mechanics, welding, electrical engineering, CAD/CAM systems, cosmetology, culinary arts, physical therapy, and veterinary tech. Charles W. Margolf Higher Education Scholarship Award presents $2,750 to graduate students from Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. This scholarship is designed to help individuals’ advancement in the coal mining industry. In order to be eligible, you must be a previous winner of the Charles W. Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Engineering/Geology Scholarship Students entering their junior or senior year at a four-year school are eligible for the Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Engineering/Geology Scholarship. Students must be citizens of the United States and residents of one of the RMCMI’s eight member states, which are Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. Alisa’s Angels Scholarship awards $5,000 scholarships to 8 students who are committed to helping others. $2500 will be available the first year of school. The remainder will be available in following years if the student is in good standing. The scholarship funds can only be used for books, and tuition, and will be issued directly to the school. You must have a gpa of 2.75 or higher. Lastly you can use the scholarship towards any college, university, community college, or qualified trade school. The application is due March 1st. Women in College Project helps a single mother afford to attend college classes at Front Range Community College and complete a high school equivalency (HSE) diploma. Applicants must be residents of Larimer County, have income at or below 25% of the Federal Poverty Line, and have taken the TABE pre-test scores are a minimum of 576 on the Reading and 537 on the Math. Tall Clubs International Student Scholarships Students 21 and under about to enter their 1st year of college are eligible to apply. Furthermore, in order to apply the applicant must meet the height requirements of TCI which is 5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women, and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men. CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship The CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship provides financial aid to African-American or Black students pursuing a degree in the performing arts. Theater, drama, comedy, music, dance, opera, marching bands, and other forms of performance art are all examples of performing arts. CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship The CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship helps African-American and Black students pursue degrees in the visual arts. Architecture, pottery, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, sketching, video production, and so on are examples of visual arts. Stephen T. Marchello Scholarship awards $1,000 to college-bound seniors who’ve overcome a cancer diagnosis. Applicants must submit a transcript, ACT/SAT scores, medical verification, and a 500-word essay describing how cancer developed their character. Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarships offers Scholarships to Colorado high school graduates that will be or are attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, or the University of Nebraska at Omaha, or University of Nebraska Medical Center. This is a merit-based scholarship for full-time freshmen who have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, reside in Colorado for at least 12 months, and show active involvement in the diabetes community. Credit Union of Colorado Foundation gives out ten $5,000 scholarships. In order to be eligible applicants must be Colorado residents with plans to attend an accredited college or university as an undergraduate taking at least 12 credit hours. Furthermore, applicants must maintain a minimum of a 3.5 GPA in high school or as a college undergraduate. Applicants should have a track record of volunteering in the community or at school. Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for High School Seniors The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and the Sallie Mae Fund come together to provide financial aid to exceptional students attending authorized post-secondary schools. Twenty-five students who have completed a two-year, four-year, or trade/vocational certificate/certification program will be chosen to earn a scholarship worth up to $10,000.00. CSF Fiesta Queen Scholarship and Pageant The Colorado State Fair Fiesta Queen Pageant selects an ambassador to represent the diverse Hispanic population and culture at the Colorado State Fair and provides scholarships to highly qualified young women who will serve as the Fiesta Queen and her Court.The Fiesta Committee will award a grand prize scholarship in the amount of $4,000 to the Fiesta Queen, $2,200 to her first attendant, $1,800 to her second attendant, and $1,500 to her third attendant. The candidate chosen as Miss Congeniality will be awarded a trophy and a $500 prize. The awards will be payable to any Colorado institution of higher learning, upon proof of full-time enrollment. AAUW Aurora Colorado Branch Scholarship awards at least one $1,000 scholarship to an Aurora resident who is currently enrolled in or plans to enroll at an accredited Colorado college or university. This year 5 applicants would be awarded $2,500. The student must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. AISES Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship AISES for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation (BNSF) awards $10,000 in scholarships. Dependent Tuition Assistance Program is offered by the Colorado Department of Higher Education and is a scholarship for military families. The amount varies. Dependents of Colorado law enforcement officers, firefighters, and national guard members killed or crippled in the line of duty, as well as dependents of prisoners of war or service personnel reported as missing in action, are eligible for tuition and on-campus lodging and board. The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly competitive scholarship that provides full tuition coverage for high school seniors from low-income households and minorities who demonstrate excellent academic standing. Students must be planning to enroll in a full-time accredited college or university in the United States. Heartfelt Dreams Foundation Scholarship awards $5,000 to deserving cardiac care nurses or nursing students pursuing a career in cardiac care to provide better care for congenital heart defect patients. Collaborates with 11 Western states and territories to provide tuition help to students pursuing careers in 10 health fields ranging from optometry to dentistry to veterinary medicine. Western Undergraduate Exchange Plus at University of New Mexico is a merit-based scholarship for incoming students at the University of New Mexico who are non-resident applicants. Students must have an above average GPA and have participated in extracurricular activities at MHS , or have been involved in community service. DWS Trade Scholarship awards $2,000 to High School Seniors planning to pursue a career in the steel industry. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Applicants must have been involved in community service or extra-curriculars. If you win the scholarship, you must agree to maintain a part-time status of employment at DWS and maintain a 2.0 GPA in their university or college coursework. Boise State WUE Award is a scholarship for incoming non-resident students who plan to attend Boise State University in the fall or spring semester. The award amount covers 150% of resident tuition, and it is estimated that students can save $14,661 annually. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and reside in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, etc. A 3.90+ GPA is required.
