Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program awards students $7,500 per year to those that show leadership, community service, and financial need. Applicants must be graduating high school, intend to enroll into a four year college/university, display the qualities above, and have a minimum SAT score of 1000 or ACT score of 22. The Anhelo Project Dream Scholarship grants undocumented students with various awards. Applicants must reside in Illinois, enroll in a college/university in Illinois, have obtained a GPA of 2.5 or higher, have a background in community service, and dedicate 20 hours of volunteering to the organization’s events. Quad City Engineering and Science Council Scholarship (QCESC) offers $3,000 to high school seniors studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and are pursuing their college education. PRSA Chicago Michelle Flowers Diversity Fellowship Program offers $3,000 to full-time undergraduate students at a four-year college or university in Illinois and be majored in public relations studies, journalism, communications or courses preparing for a career in public relations. Community Foundation of Northern Illinois Scholarships offers a varied amount to students who have academic achievement, expresses financial need, student athletes; students of color; and students pursuing careers in education, STEM, business, fire science, and healthcare. Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Scholarship awards $2,500 to Eligible to apply are students from Chicago and suburban schools who were homeless at some point while attending high school, as verified by the student’s school.
